Sharon Dowey MSP has congratulated Ayr India Seafront restaurant following their win as Best Indian Restaurant in the West of Scotland at the prestigious 2024 Spice Awards.
Sharon lodged a congratulatory motion in the Scottish Parliament recognising Ayr India’s achievement. The Spice Awards, which were held at the DoubleTree Hilton in Glasgow in September 2024, celebrate the best in Indian dining across the country, bringing together the finest establishments from all over Scotland.
Sharon Dowey met with family owners, Narinder, Balbir, Bhavenpreet and Sharanjit Sangha at their popular local restaurant on Ayr sea front.

This award showcases the restaurant’s high-quality cuisine and customer service and is very well deserved. I was delighted to lodge a motion in the Scottish Parliament, recognising Ayr India’s win and congratulating them on this tremendous achievement.
